Solution:
Use the command line tool: “system_profiler”. Using The Mac GUI interface and System Profiler” or “System Information” is populated at startup and does not change once it has been populated. If a device becomes disabled, neither the “System Profiler” nor “System Information” will show the change until the machine has been rebooted or the command of "system_profiler" has been run from the command line.
What you're looking for in the “system_profiler”/Hardware area:
Fibre Channel (will contain World Wide Names)
Parallel SCSI (SCSI ID’s)
PCI Devices
"system_profiler"
To update system profiler you need to run "system_profiler" at the command line. The path is: /usr/sbin/system_profiler. The output will provide updated details about all the various items in the system including id's, lun's, world wide names...
