When trying to add a Netapp filer you receive the error "NdmpListener0: Error initializing IPv4 n (4047224)

Symptoms:

The library filer(XXX-XX-XXX-X) refused to add. Each time an attempt is made to add the filer, we noticed the tape library would hang.

Then when we go to check the NDMP status it would have been switched off. Trying to reset NDMP to on we always get this error message below:

ndmpd OFF.

No ndmpd sessions active.
