Title: OFM fails to sync all drives
NV Version: ALL
OS Version: windows
Application version:
Plugin version: OFM plugin
Problem:
OFM repeatedly fails to sync a drive but other drives on the system sync successfully
A problem exists in the calculations done for the AllocationThreshold setting and St Bernards have coded a fix in OFM driver version 2.3.03.
If set to a value that is lower than the available nonpage pool memory, OFM should always be able to sync all volumes.
The issues is that one or more volumes may still fail to sync due to the failed memory allocation error.
Solution:
Install the OFM driver version 2.3.03 - Contact Support to obtain the driver.
How to install: -
Install the driver using the standard SetupLv.exe binary.
This will install an OFM driver in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\OfmLvDrv.sys with a version number 2.3.0.3
Here’s the screen output received during the installation –
