Error connecting to Spotlight Statistics Repository: "Cannot open database"
Description
The following error occurs in Spotlight Report Viewer error: "Error connecting to Spotlight Statistics Repository : Cannot open database "SpotlightStatisticsRepository" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'my user ID'."
Resolution
Reconfigure user account allowing to connect, insert and delete data in the SpotlightStatisticRepository database with the following steps:
2. Select Configure | Diagnostic Server | Configure to configure the Spotlight Statistic Repository. 3. Confirm "Enable Use of Statistics Repository" option is checked 4. Specify the instance name and use the “Create” button if it does not yet exist.
