FTR Instruction Messages Rule behaviour fails
Description

FTR Instruction Messages rule's behaviour is set to fire after 2 consecutive alerts, but fails on several occasions and fires on the second attempt.
Cause

The rule fails because of two reasons

[1] The agent collects data every 2 mins
[2] The rule condition is based on a groovy script which check observation over a period of 5 mins

i.e data collected every 2nd minute, rule fires every 5th minute. On the 10min when rule fires it checks all observations collected over the past 5 mins in which one of the two collections it set to true and fires an alarm.
Resolution

For the rule to fire correctly, goto FTR Agent properties | Edit Script list | change the sample frequency of the script to 10 mins.
