The client setting for Microphone redirect, under the local resources tab on the AppPortal client or Web Access settings, does not work when connecting to a Windows 2008 R2 Server that is configured as a VDI.
WORKAROUND:
There is no current workaround for this if connecting to a Windows 2008 R2 Server as a VDI. The microphone redirection does work when connecting to a Windows 2008 R2 RDS Server or Windows 7 VDI
STATUS:
The defect has been submitted to the vWorkspace development team for consideration in a future version of vWorkspace
