When browsing to 'QMM Console | Migration Project | Directory Migration | <SourceDomain
Migration Manager for Active Directory. Failed to retrieve statistics. Access is denied.
This is due to the Migration Account lacking administrator rights on the DSA (Directory Synchronization Agent) server. This could be happen if the DSA server is set up in a server different from the QMM Console Server.
Example: DSA server installed on a server in the source domain and there is no trust set up with target domain, where the QMM Console Server is installed.
For Windows 2003 / XP:
1. Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Stored User Names & Passwords
2. Add the DSA Server name with the user credential that has administrative rights on the DSA Server.
For Windows 2008 / Vista:
1. Go to Start | Control Panel | User Accounts | User Accounts
2. From the Tasks, click on "Manage your network passwords"
3. Add the DSA Server name with the user credential that has administrative rights on the DSA Server.
For Windows 2008 R2 / Windows 7:
1. Go to Start | Control Panel | User Accounts | Credential Manager
2. Click on Add a Windows Credential, specify DSA Server name and the user credentials that has the administrative rights on the DSA Server.
Note: Ensure that DSA Server name is resolvable from the QMM Console Server.
