The rule has been copied to do customization, but the new rule does not raise any alarms.
Some rules have the rule ID hard coded and not dynamically generated. When copying such rules and not changing the rule ID and the original rule is still active, the copied rule will never fire an alarm.
As the original rule already fired, no second alarm will be created.
The rule id is set in the function "checkObservationAlarms()" located in the "Condition" tab and in the function "createObservationAlarms()" located in the "Severity Level Variables".
In both functions scroll to the end and the rule ID can be noticed:
},"542c111ff5feabe3803bccb722386cae").size() > 0;
To solve this issue, change the rule ID and use the variable "foglight_rule_id", this will call its individual rule ID and an alarm will be raised for this rule.
The rule ID above is just an example. It differs in each rule, which contains a hard coded rule id.
