Our security software scan finds a user called anonymous, created in mysql backend database created by Foglight. This anonymous user does not have a password set, so this is a security policy violation in our network. How to disable this anonymous user?
All mysql databases (created by Foglight or not) contain two default users, root and anonymous.
You can disable this anonymous account and it will not have an affect on Foglight. There are various articles on the internet which show how to disable the anonymous account in a mysql database. Here is an example:
