Errors when trying to load the Offline Address Book or when trying to use Send/Receive in Outlook -
Description
When target migrated users are using their switched mailbox and when they click on "Send/Receive" then an error is displayed in "Errors" tab of "Outlook Send/Receive Progress" window:
"Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found." -
Cause
This is a known issue and is mentioned in the Release Notes for EMWProf:
"After migrating to Microsoft Exchange 2007, users may experience errors during the Offline Address Book download. To resolve the issue, open the Offline Address Book Properties dialog in the Exchange Management Console and select the Outlook 98 SP1 or earlier (Version 2) checkbox on the Distribution tab. Note that the issue is applicable to all Microsoft Outlook versions." -
Resolution
Please follow the instructions from EMWProf Release Notes (mentioned above), publish the version 2 of the OAB and force a rebuild of the OAB.
