Description
MAPI error 8004011D recorded in the migration log. -
Cause
The MAPI error 8004011D may indicate a number of different issues. -
Resolution
1. Make sure that the Exchange Server is online.
2. Ensure that the network connection between the migration workstation and the Exchange server is valid and operational.
3. Check that the NetBIOS name of the Exchange server can be resolved from the migration workstation.
4. Ensure that you are able to connect to the mailbox using Outlook.
5. Ensure that the migration account has the appropriate "Send As" and "Receive As" permissions to the mailbox & is not a member of any group which has explicit deny permissions, such as Domain Admins or Enterprise Admins in default installations.
It is sometimes necessary to reinstall Outlook on the console machine if CDO components have become corrupt.
