An upgrade to Quest Collaboration Services (QCS), version 3.0, was done. The HQ upgraded successfully but one of the branches did not seem to upgrade or upgrade properly so it was done manually. The branch is now generating the error:
<AD Sender> (30836) Failed to get collection membership for collection <CollectionName>. Code : 0x80049f01,Description : no such column: IsCalendarLicensed[EIP: 0x03303992,0x03303B14][EIP: 0x04F3465B,0x04ECE47F]
The Publication was recreated in case it had become corrupted. Once recreated the following error was received:
<AD Sender>(30834) Collection <CollectionName>: Failed to process collection. Code: 0x80049f01, Description: table Membership has 4 columns but 5 values were supplied [EIP: 0x03303992,0x03303B14]
Upgrade to version 3.0 of QCS did not complete correctly.
Repair the install or update.
This can be done two ways; from either the original QCS software disk or down loaded software and re-run the install wizard or thru the Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs. In the Add or Remove Programs select Quest Collaboration Services 3.0 and a Change button will appear. Select this button and the Setup Wizard will start. Select the Repair radio button (selected by default) and then the Options button. It is recommended that all check boxes be selected for the repair. This will cause a full repair or full re-install of the software. The full repair will take you thru all of the steps as if this was a new install and will require a re-generation of the encryption key.
The repair will not make changes to publications and subscriptions. There will be no data or settings loss due to the rebuild.
