What is the procedure for exporting derived metrics?

In versions higher than 5.2.6 use the following commandfglcmd -cmd util:configexport -f file.xml
The XML file will be saved in the "bin" folder or in the specified path.In Foglight 5.2.4.x and lower versions use :
fglcmd -cmd util:configexport
which will export an XML file which will include the derived metric.
Please note the XML file produced contains all Foglight settings including the derived Metric Definitions. So the XML file must be edited to include only the derived metrics.
From the Web Console you can do the following:1. Go to Administration | Data | Derived Metrics2. In the search field enter the name of the cartridge for example Infra or DBSS3. Click in the properties icon at the right side of the search field4. Click Export5. Choose the output formatIf the 'export' option is not available make sure to check the following:- Administration | Users and Security | Users & security Management
- Manage Users, Groups, Roles
- Select the "Username" then select "View"
- Make sure Foglight User has needed roles
- Roles may be: Administrator, Advanced Operator, Console User, Dashboard User, General access, Operator.
The Derived Metrics can be exported in the Following formats:
- Excel
- CSV
- XML
The information displayed is what is shown in the Derived Metrics dashboard. If additional details needs to be checked regarding a particular derived metric click on 'Edit" and the scope and calculation details will be shown.
