Admin Console | Dashboards | Foglight | Agents dashboard
is not showing any Agents underneath my Hosts. I have checked the Agent Status dashboard and it shows that my Agents are present, activated, and collecting data.
How to show Agents in Foglight | Agents dashboard?
Could be various causes. Check Resolutions below.
Agent Filter may be turned on, which is filtering out some or all Agents from being shown.
To set Agent Filter to not have any Filter specifics:
a.) Admin Console | Dashboards | Foglight | Agents | Actions panel | General tab | click on Agent Filter
b.) Under "Filter Agents By Type" select the top level, "Agent".
c.) Inspect to see if all Agents under all Hosts in the Foglight | Agents dashboard are appearing (if not see all Agents, perform Resolution 2 below).
Agents may have broken linkage to Hosts.
To fix broken linkage:
a.) Download attached groovy script.
b.) Admin Console | Dashboards | Administration | Tooling | Script Editor | paste the contents of the attached script into the 'Script': area | click Run button.
c.) Check the Foglight | Agents dashboard to see if agents appear (may have to refresh page or sign out/sign in or try stop/start FMS).
Browser page refresh used to refresh FMS page after agent was added.
a.) Use FMS integrated green refresh icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page
FMS and FglAMs require restart
a.) Stopping and starting the FMS and the FglAM(s),
b.) Sheck the Agent Hosts page again to verify that the FglAM(s) is reporting in to the FMS
