When verifying settings in RMAD, an error message appears in red:
An unknown error occurred.
No valid network adapter addresses found in the backup.
VMware infrastructure may have configured the IP settings only in memory on the source DC and never persisted them to the registry
For a statically configured adapter, the IpAddress and SubnetMask values should be present in the registry alongside the rest of the interface configuration.
Verify the network configuration on the source DC and ensuring that the registry key
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{adapter guid}
contains the expected static IP configuration values.
