The licensing experience in erwin Data Modeler is controlled through the Licensing.config file located in the erwin DM installation directory.

⚠️ Once a license has been migrated and activated using Quest Licensing, it cannot be rolled back to Legacy Licensing.
Changing UseQuestLicensing back to False will not revert a migrated Quest license. The setting should only be used to control which licensing experience is launched for customers who have not yet completed migration.
Navigate to the erwin DM installation directory.
Open Licensing.config.
Update the value as required:
UseQuestLicensing = True
Save the file.
Restart erwin Data Modeler.
UseQuestLicensing = True → Launches the Quest Licensing sign-in experience.
UseQuestLicensing = False → Launches the legacy Nalpeiron licensing experience (for non-migrated customers only).
Note: Restart erwin Data Modeler after making any changes to the
Licensing.configfile for the update to take effect.
