How to reset or restore Toad Data Studio to the default factory settings
Sometimes resetting or restoring Toad Data Studio to the default factory settings solves some problems when launching the application.
Steps to reset Toad Data Studio:
1) Make sure Toad Data Studio is closed.
2) Go to:C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\
3) Rename the “Toad Data Studio 26.x” folder to “Toad Data Studio 26.x OLD”. (Where X.x is the product version)
4) Open Toad Data Studio.
5) Ensure that Toad Data Studio can open again and seems to have been reset to factory defaults.
