Rapid Recovery - Amazon S3 buckets appear greyed out and cannot be selected when creating a Cloud Archive using Chromium-based browsers (4383983)

When creating a Cloud Archive in Rapid Recovery using Amazon S3 storage, the configured S3 buckets are visible in the Container drop-down list but appear greyed out (disabled) and cannot be selected.

The issue occurs despite the following:

• The Cloud Account is successfully configured.
• The S3 buckets are enumerated correctly.
• The IAM user has the required permissions.
• The bucket is accessible from AWS CLI.
• Upload and delete operations succeed using the same AWS credentials.

Symptoms

While creating a new archive:

Archive Wizard → Location

• Location Type: Cloud
• Account: Amazon S3
• Container: Bucket is displayed but disabled (grey).

The wizard does not allow the user to proceed.

Affected Products

• Rapid Recovery Core 6.11 (observed on 6.11.0.314)
• Rapid Recovery Core 6.10 (observed on 6.10.0.316)

Other versions have not yet been validated.

This issue is caused by a browser-specific user interface behavior.

During internal testing, the issue was reproduced when accessing the Rapid Recovery Core using Chromium-based browsers (for example, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Brave). The same configuration functioned correctly when accessed using Mozilla Firefox.

AWS permissions, bucket configuration, and Rapid Recovery cloud connectivity were verified to be functioning correctly.

Workaround

Access the Rapid Recovery Core using Mozilla Firefox.

When using Firefox, the Amazon S3 buckets become selectable and the Archive Wizard proceeds normally.
