How to enable approval-based license provisioning in the license portal
Follow the below steps using the License Portal to configure the License Provisioning setting of a license.
Prerequisite: Having permission to make the adjust the setting: License Owner, Admin or Organization Owner
Steps:
Locate the license in the Personal Licenses or Organization Licenses dashboard and open the License Overview page.
Select the manage Tab
Then go to Settings tab and choose the Seat Approvals Settings and enable it.
Overview of the Approval based provisioning setting:
Once the setting is enabled, if an account attempts to activate the same license in the License Portal, they’ll receive the following message. The license owners and admins will be notified by email of the license request.
The License Portal will also notify owners and admins inside the application of the pending request via: The Overview page and the account’s Bell icon and the Seats tab of the license
License owners or admins can choose to approve or deny the request
The account requesting the license will be notified by email of the status of request (approved or denied)
