What upgrade paths are available for recent Foglight Managment Server (FMS) versions to 8.2.x?
Recent versions of the Foglight Management Server support direct upgrades from the previous two published major releases. Multiple upgrades (hops) in succession may be required to reach the newest release levels.
As examples, the following upgrade paths can be used to upgrade from older versions
5.9.x → 6.3.0 → 7.1.5 (or 7.1.8) → 8.0.x → 8.2.x
6.0.0 → 6.3.0 → 7.1.5 (or 7.1.8) → 8.0.x → 8.2.x
6.1.0 → 7.1.5 → 8.0.x → 8.2.x
7.1.0 → 8.0.x → 8.2.x
7.3.x → 8.0.x (or 8.1.x) → 8.2.x
8.0.x → 8.2.x
8.1.x → 8.2.x
