Foglight 8.0.0.3 - Support use of gMSA for LDAP (4382917)

This hotfix enhances the Foglight Management Server running on Windows to allow a gMSA account for the LDAP configuration. In order to use a gMSA account for LDAP integration:

• The Foglight Management Server process (Windows Service) must be running as a gMSA user
• The configuration on the Administration > Users & Security Management > Directory Services Settings dashboard should be updated to:
  • Specify the gMSA user in the Distinguished name of the service account field
  • Specify the following value in the Password field: <gMSA>

Installing this hotfix

• Run the FMS installer.

Verifying successful completion

• Go to the Configuration admin dashboard
• Check that the server version is 8.0.0.3

Removing this hotfix

Once installed, this hotfix cannot be removed.
