In environments where multiple previous Toad Data Point installations exist, customers may be uncertain how migration is handled, which version should be selected, or how scheduled automation behaves after the upgrade.
Toad Data Point Subscription introduces a newer licensing and execution model. On first launch, it scans the system to detect existing Toad Data Point installations and determines whether user data should be migrated.
If more than one previous installation is detected, user input is required to select the appropriate source for migration. During this process, automation and scheduled tasks are updated to execute using the Toad Data Point Subscription executable.
