Unable to complete the Bare Metal Recovery to VMware. The process gets stuck at the 'Select network adapter' window after booting the previously generated Recovery Image ISO file, as no adapter appears in the drop-down menu. If a network connection is established, the recovery may subsequently fail with an error indicating that the target hard disks cannot be found.
The default Quest BMR boot media does not include the specific VMware virtual hardware drivers required to recognize the network interface controller (NIC) and the storage controllers.
To resolve this, you must manually extract the VMware Tools drivers and inject them into the Quest media image before performing the recovery. You may need both the network driver (vmxnet3) and the storage drivers (pvscsi and rawdsk)

Afterward you need to copy it e.g. into the drivers folder and re-create the Quest media image by running "Verify settings".
