When creating a new column, regardless of parent domain, the Column Type (Regular, Static, Clustering, Partition) does not default to "Regular" as it has in previous Erwin versions, but it keeps this type blank. This can be seen in the creation of the new entity and in looking at the properties of the object in Erwin Version 15.2.
The Bug Id is 16647.
The workaround is to manually assign the column type.
