Best practices to upgrade erwin Mart Portal from 12.x to 15.x (4382234)

What are the recommended best practices for upgrading erwin Mart Portal?

**note** Starting with version 15.x, erwin Data Modeler (DM) can connect to the same or higher erwin Mart version. Mart can't be a lower version than the erwin DM client.

1. Close and save all open models
2. Stop erwin Mart services
3. Backup erwin Mart database (For rollback purposes)
4. Delete erwin Mart services
5. *Optional* Capture erwin Mart configuration.
6. Uninstall erwin Mart
7. Restart server
8. Install new erwin Mart version
9. Restart server
10. Configure erwin Mart
11. Create erwin Mart services
12. Start erwin Mart services
13. Test general functionality
