When opening Toad Data Point, the following error comes up and the application proceeds to close: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path
The issue occurs because the user running Toad Data Point doesn't have permissions to access these files.
To solve the issue, try the following steps:
1. Run the software as an Admin.
2. Or, go to the folder C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad Data Point 6.3\ open the properties and add the current user to the list of users in the folder, and grant all the permissions.
Once the permissions are granted to the current user, Toad Data Point should work without the forced closure.
