There are two different installers for Toad Data Studio:
The Toad Data Studio Subscription installer
and the Toad Data Studio installer
Note: This applies to versions prior to 2025 R2. From version 2025 R2 ,Toad Data Studio uses a single installer for both Subscription and Term users. Features such as AI Explain and Auto-Update are enabled or disabled dynamically at runtime, depending on the user’s license
