I cannot license Toad. Toad gets stuck at "Initiaizon Licensing Services". The computer has restricted Internet access.
What URLs need to be accessible in order to validate the license?
Toad Edge tries to open the following URLs while signing in. Make sure you have access to these:
https://www.toadworld.com/
https://id.quest.com/auth/realms/quest
https://licensing.ism.quest.com
https://id.quest.com/auth/realms/quest/protocol/openid-connect/auth?client_id=ism-licensing&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Flicensing.ism.quest.com%2Fpersonal%2Flicenses&state=ab502290-2685-4bed-96fe-08b68b84cdec&response_mode=fragment&response_type=code&scope=openid&nonce=301dbf4a-f9ef-40fd-8ec2-cd27e20c42b6
If after allowing these url's, the problem persists, please try also this:
Close Toad
Go to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad Edge\
Open ToadEdge.ini file
Add -Dbrowsertype=IE
Save and close the file
Reopen Toad and retest.
Please note that offline licensing is now available in case it is not possible to access internet.
The Offline and Online licenses for Toad Edge are separate purchases. Toad Edge customers are not automatically entitled to both so in case we need this type of license, we should contact the Quest Account Manager.
