Uninstalled secure storage agent without unprotecting the server first. Now, if you try to reinstall the agent the following message appears preventing you to reinstall the agent:
During initially, when you install the secure storage agent and harden the server it creates an IPSEC policy that contains the hardening rules. When the agent was uninstalled without unprotecting the server, it removed the agent but the hardening policy still exist.
Resolution
It is safe to delete the IPSEC policy. Once you reinstall the Secure Storage Agent this policy will be recreated. You may use the following command to delete this policy:
netsh ipsec static delete policy all
The other option is to use the AUTO_HARDEN=FALSE parameter when installing agent. By doing this it will keep current policy in place, but agent installer will not apply a new one.
