ARS extended attributes cause AD discovery to fail

Collecting the following ARS virtual attributes cause the AD discovery to stop working:

• edsaDialinAccessPermissions
• edsaDialinApplyStaticRoutes
• edsaDialinApplyStaticIP
• edsaDialinCallbackNumber
• edsaDialinCallbackOptions
• edsaDialinCallerID
• edsaDialinStaticIP
• edsaDialinStaticRoutes
• edsaDialinVerifyCallerID

Some other attributes may also cause issues.
Collecting these attributes causes the discovery to return 0 results, fail, or run perpetually.

his behavior has been confirmed as a known issue in Enterprise Reporter. A Defect Request has been formally submitted to address the problem in an upcoming release/hotfix.

Current Workaround Until the fix becomes available, the recommended workaround is to disable the collection of ARS extended attributes. This prevents the error from occurring during the collection process.
