Page orientation in Optimizer - Snapshots report

For the 'Optimizer - Snapshots' report the format of the report is not readable in its default configuration.

The report page orientation is in portrait and columns are not wide enough to properly display the virtual machine names.

In comparison the 'Open Snapshots' report is generated in landscape orientation.

WORKAROUND
 

With a user that has the Cartridge Developer role, modify the report orientation by completing the following steps:

1. Go to Configuration | Definitions.
2. Click on All Definitions.
3. Search for "system:optimizer_reporting.OptimizerSnapshotsReport" and select Optimizer – Snapshots Report.
4. Click on Edit.

   

5. Select the Configuration tab.
6. Change the Page Orientation to Landscape.
7. Save changes.

   

 

Note: This change will be reverted if the cartridge is reset or upgraded to a release that does not include a fix.

STATUS

This issue has been logged as defect FOG-6381 and has been fixed in the 7.1 release of Foglight Evolve.
