Database Tools License Portal - How to download and activate term or perpetual offline licenses?
Resolution

For term and perpetual offline licenses, users can follow the below steps to download and activate the license from the online license management portal.

1. Login to the online license management portal from here by using Quest portal or application account
2. Locate and select the license number from Personal Licenses or Organization Licenses overview page
3. Click "Download offline license" option

4. Rename the downloaded file to ApexSQL.licenses (if needed)
5. Move (and replace existing) file in user profile path: c:\users\<user name>\AppData\Local\ApexSQL\Common

Launch the product and use the About option to view the activated license product.
