Description
Creating a search for changes in ExtensionAttribute X, using the Active Directory Subsystem results in zero records being returned -
Resolution
The Extension Attributes are monitored using the Exchange Facility. Create the search using the Exchange Subsystem instead of Active Directory Subsystem:
- Under WHAT tab, click the down arrow next to Add, select subsystem and then select Exchange
- Under Scope select "This Object and all Child objects"
- Search for or select the OU, User or Group you want to search against, click "Add", then click OK. NOTE: If you want to search against the members of a group, select "Members of this group" under Scopes and then add the group
- Save and run the search
