Why are the expected objects/tables not listed in the object explorer? -
Description
After connecting to the server, the expected objects/tables are not listed in the object explorer. The connected user ID and password should have permission to view the objects. -
Resolution
Assuming there is no privilege limitation on the server/account end, verify the following:
1. Is the Object Explorer panel displayed?
2. Is the correct database selected from the first drop-down in the Object Explorer panel?
3. Is there a filter set up that could be limiting the objects displayed?
4. Is the correct object type selected to display in the Object Explorer panel?
