You receive the following error when attempting to deploy a GPO deletion:
System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]:
There is no such object on the server.
(Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is: System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryServicesCOMException: There is no such object on the server.

Force the system to create a new backup, if the OU has already been deleted in the live environment.
To do this, unregister the GPO, and then re-register the object.
Afterwards, you should be able to work with this GPO as expected.
