Is it possible to Export and later Import Real-Time Monitoring Policies and Rules in the Quest InTrust Manager?
Some customers may wish to Export custom real-time policies and rules so they can be re-imported later (or perhaps imported into another InTrust server).
1) To Export Real-Time Monitoring Policies in the Quest InTrust Manager:
- Navigate to the node "Quest InTrust Manger | Real-Time Monitoring | Policies"
- Select a given Policy to Export
- Right-click on the selected Policy and choose "Export" and save the exported XML.
2) To Import Real-Time Monitoring Policies in the Quest InTrust Manager:
- Navigate to the node "Quest InTrust Manger | Real-Time Monitoring | Policies"
- Select a given node to Import into (for example, the Policies node).
- Right-click on the selected node and choose "Import" and select a previously Exported XML file and click "Open".
** Please note: for Exporting and Importing of Rules, follow the same steps as above, but navigate to the "Rules" node rather than the "Policies" node. **
