After starting a copy job, a message is returned from the operating system on the server where Secure Copy is installed that the system is 'Running out of non page memory' or 'Running low on non page memory' on the Source device.
This is not a typical issue. Most likely the Volume Shadow Copy service is creating very large files on the source device. Inadequate disk space on the device causes the operating system to have trouble writing the files necessary for the Volume Shadow Copy service.
Open the Secure Copy console and expand the job where the message has been seen. Remove the checkmark that enables the option to 'Use volume shadow copy services on local source paths to ensure open files are copied'
Restart the Secure Copy job.
