The Exchange Server Emulation feature of Recovery Manager cannot be used on a Windows Vista-based computer. To use the Exchange Server Emulation feature, you must install Exchange System Management Tools on the computer where Recovery Manager is installed. However, installation of Exchange System Management Tools on a Windows Vista-based computer is not supported by Microsoft.

Install Recovery Manager and Exchange System Management Tools on a computer running any other version of Windows supported by Recovery Manager except Windows Vista.
