Description

Maintenance Plan Reporting and Logging does not sent email out to the operator.
Cause

SQL Server Agent is not configured correctly to use Database Mail or SQL Mail.
Resolution

Configured SQL Server Agent to use Database Mail or SQL Mail (for SQL Server 200) in order to send email to operator.
