Receive error: "The next file media was not found in the folder '<folder name>'." when atte
Description

When attempting to catalog a backup created by Veritas NetBackup, Recovery Manager might display the following message: "Failed to process backup media: The next file media was not found in the folder '<folder name>'."
Resolution

CAUSE

Recovery Manager does not support backups, created by Veritas NetBackup, that do not contain Exchange data. Such backups might have the same file extension as Exchange backups so Recovery Manager attempts to catalog them.

WORKAROUND

Use backups containing Exchange data only.

STATUS
