I am able to connect to mart administrator on the mart server host machine but when I connect erw (4353034)

Description:

I am able to connect to mart administrator on the mart server host machine but when I connect erwin DM to mart on the mart host machine I get error: The client application version is different from the Mart Server version

Solution:

Deleting the mart server service and recreating it creating the service with administrator rights resolves the issue.

To delete the mart server service:

Right click on cmd prompt and run as administrator and execute below cmd

sc delete <Service name> [Service name for mart is MartServer]

When I remove a Windows Service with sc delete <service name>, I encounter the following error:

[SC] DeleteService FAILED 1072:

The specified service has been marked for deletion.

In such cases

• Ensured that Event Viewer is closed
• Removed the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<service name> from the registry.
• Restart the server.

Now right click on create mart server service and select run as administrator.
