Missing "Show processing progress" in Resource Updating Manager (RUM) 8.5 and possible workaround (4352524)

Starting with QMM 8.4 RUM has been re-designed and there is no Show processing progress feature anymore.Are there any possible alternatives or workarounds?

The information about processing progress is now stored on each computer in the following folder:
C:\Windows\Quest Resource Updating Agent

This folder contains the following files:
Vmover.log this is a log file being created by Vmover thatcontains processing results, errors encountered etc.
Vmover.txtthis is a log file which reflects what is being processed at the given moment - processing progress.
32 bit OS: %WINDOWS%\Quest Resource Updating Agent\VMover.txt
64 bit OS: %WINDOWS%\Quest Resource Updating Agent\x64\VMover.txt
When using real time monitoring tools or file readers, eg. SMS Trace, one can view what is being processed via looking at Vmover.txt above. This would be an equivalent of Show processing progress feature.
