How to set dashboard so only that dashboard shows in navigation panel when assigned users log in? (4352149)

We have user(s) that are only allowed to see specifc areas of Foglight's monitored information.
I have created the dashboard which shows only that information - when the user(s) login to Foglight, only that dashboard should be available (shown in the Navigation panel).

How to set this up?

Setting Dashboard Security:

Admin Console | Administration | Users & Security

1. Manage Users | create user 'testUser1' (do not assign a group yet)
2. Manage Roles | create a role called 'testRole1' (do not assign groups yet)
3. Manage Groups | create a group called 'testGroup1'.
4. Manage Groups | highlight 'testGroup1' and click on "Edit Users" and make 'testUser1' a member of 'testGroup1' (green arrow).
5. Manage Groups | highlight 'testGroup1' and click on "Edit Roles" and associate 'testGroup1' with 'testRole1' AND 'Console User'.

6. Open up the Custom Dashboard. Open Actions panel (right panel), click on General tab, click on Properties, Edit Basic Properties. Choose the drop down arrow next to 'Relevant Roles' and select 'testRole1'. Apply changes.

7. Sign in as 'testUser1'. Only 'custom dash' should appear in Navigation panel (left panel).

Note: you may need to set View security to allow user(s) to drill down into the items in the dashboard to see detailed View information. Here is how:

1. Login as the user and click on items in dashboard to view detailed, drill down information.
2. If any errors are produced, such as "Cannot read view 'ViewName'", note the exact name of the 'ViewName'.
3. Login as Foglight Admin account and...
Admin Console | Dashboards | Configuration | Definitions | click on the Definition name in the Definitions tree | click on the 'Views' tab below Definitions tree| search for the exact ViewName you noted earlier - this should open up a tab to the right which lists the specifics of that ViewName.
4. Click on 'Edit' in the ViewName specifics | click on the 'Allowed Roles' roles drop down area | select the Roles that will be allowed to drill down into this ViewName.
5. Save and test.
