Description
After upgrade LiteSpeed, Log Shipipng job failed with error message:
The process could not be created for step 1 job "xxxx' (reason: The system cannot find the file specified). The step failed. -
Cause
Conditions:
1) Customer had changed the name of the Log Shipping job after it got created.
2) During the upgrade of LiteSpeed, He choose a new location of Install directory.
Both condition 1) and 2) happened in order to trigger the error. SLSLogShip.exe is no longer existed in the path that the Log Shipping Jobs pointed to. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Modified the job step to point the SLSLogShip.exe to the correct path location. -
Additional Information
The Log Shipping Job should not be modified manually unless advised by Quest.
