Objects have been published but they are not visible in the GAL and FB information for such objects is not being processed.
There are no errors. What can cause this?
This can happen when during the creation of the publication and selecting the attributes to be published the tab "Minimum" was used.
Below is an excerpt from User Guide about the "Minimum" attributes feature:
Step 5. Select the attributes for the objects added to a collection
This step lets you specify which attributes should be published for each object class. There are two predefined sets of attributes to be published:
Minimum and All Attributes.
The Minimum set includes the only attributes required to create a stub object in another forest.
Note that you are not allowed to deselect any of the object attributes included in the Minimum set.
Note from User Guide:
If any object attribute included in the Minimum set is not valid, the object cannot be published.
After this has been corrected a re-publication is required.
If you are installing Collaboration Services in pure Exchange 2007 or 2010 organization, you need to select the Use the built-in service to stamp mail attributes on the stub objects under General | RUS Options tab in the Collaboration Services Properties dialog, otherwise the AD objects will be created by Collaboration Services, but they will not appear in the Global Address List.
