A possible scenario could be:
Contact exists in target domain. This contact has been added to some target groups, under the "Accept messages only from" list for the DL. Once QMM consumes the contact during dirsync and creates a user object it will remove the entry under the "Accept messages only from" list, it will get lost. QMM will preserve the SMTP and group membership, but will don't preserve the under "Accept messages only from" entries.
In the described above scenario the following attributes need to be preserved:
authOrig
unauthOrig
unauthOrigBL
dlMemRejectPerms
dlMemSubmitPerms
dlMemRejectPermsBL
dlMemSubmitPermsBL
This can be accomplished with some help from PSO or consultants (or support engineers), by adding the entries to the settings in ADAM directly.
As first step backup ADAM.
connect to the ADAM project
locate the "Synchronization" node
find the "aelita-Amm-MergeBackLinks" attribute filled with one value "memberOf;member".
Add the desired pairs of "backlink; link" (for example "unauthOrigBL; unauthOrig").
When done you need to restart the activation service to apply those new settings.
