What happens if a user account gets disabled on publisher's side?
What happens if a publication is disabled in QCS (Quest Collaboration Services)?
What if I want to stop syncing accounts to a branch but keep the existing objects in the branch?
If you disable an account QCS will still synchronize (publish) this account and it will synchronize all changes, so disabling an object is not preventing QCS from publishing the object.
Target (published stub) object will remain as it was and will not be removed from the GAL (Global Address List) or from AD.
If you disable a publication this publication will be just put on hold, nothing will happen.
Objects in a disabled publication will not be published and one cannot re-publish the publication, it will error out.
Existing published objects will not be affected, they will not be removed from the GAL or from AD.
