How does Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE) create the Active Directory User logon name (username) when provisioning new users during the Merge Contacts process and is it configurable?
During the Merge Contacts process, MNE can create users in Active Directory if they do not already exist. MNE automatically populates the User logon name (username) in Active Directory by taking the prefix of the Internet Address (SMTP Address) found in Notes. For example, if a user named Test User has an Internet Address in Notes of test.user@domain.com, the Active Directory User logon name will be "test.user".
Currently, MNE is only able to generate the AD User logon name based off of the prefix of the user's SMTP address.
