EMWNTA log contains (repeatedly) this error:
SERVERNAME NTA::Application::EnumFolders Error 522 There are no servers in the Servers table. Agent will be terminated. 9/27/2006 3:37:49 AM
This error appears when changes for the job have not been committed (or for some reason could not be committed) properly.
Perform the following steps:
1. Stop the agents.
2. Commit the changes. If they already have been committed open the properties of the job and make a small change (eg. change the description). Commit changes. (Later the change can be undone and changes can be committed again. The goal is just to commit the changes, thus updating the servers table within the local database.)
3. Start the transmission agent and check the log.
If error still appears - the Config.mdb file is probably corrupted and needs to be repaired.
Next step to try would be:
4. Stop the transmission agent.
a. Follow the path and find the database file, by default the location is %systemroot%\system32\Aelita Exchange Migration Wizard\mail transmission agent\
b. Try to repair this file using Access.
c. Start the transmission agent and check the log.
d. If this step does not help - rename the old Config.mdb and copy this file form another machine where transmission agent is working correctly. Place the file into the same directory.
It is important to commit changes afterwards!
e. Start the transmission agent and check the log.
If this step does not help - reinstall the shared components and the transmission agent.
5. Stop the transmission agent.
Use the Exchange Project manager, in left pane tree highlight "Exchange Migration Project", click on Actions and select "Install/Unistall Agents", use the wizard to uninstall the shared components and the transmission agent and then install them again in exactly the same order, first the shared components and then the agent.
IMPORTANT: Reinstalling the agent is always the very last resort and should be done only if all previous steps did not help.
Usually uninstalling and reinstalling an agent does not negatively affect the synchronization but Transmission Agents folders might contain unprocessed data, before uninstalling the Transmission Agent ensure the IN and OUT subfolders do not contains any unprocessed files.
If such files are present make a copy of the folder content (alternatively move the folder out) and later, after the agent was reinstalled, move the content back before you start the agent.
