The following error can be seen in the Directory Connector CMN.log file in the Exchange to Notes direction:

Synchronization steps aborted. Details: Invalid RDN value:

Cause

This issue can be caused by objects in Notes missing the "CN=" string in the Notes "FullName" field.
Resolution

WORKAROUND

Locate and remove the offending objects in Notes whose "FullName" does not begin with "CN=".

STATUS

An Enhancement Request, TFS 275352, has been created to allow for CMN to be more tolerant of malformed objects in Notes.

For additional status updates or information on this please contact your Quest Account Manager and reference the Change Request # TFS275352. In once case [2278685] This was due to tick in a box on The Advanced Properties "Enable Free/Busy Address in Full name". After removing this all went back to normal.
